Pros

Working at SIXT has been a genuinely positive experience. The company fosters a welcoming, family-friendly culture where employees feel supported both professionally and personally. Leadership is approachable, communication is open, and the team environment makes day-to-day work enjoyable. There are plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the company

Cons

None at all, a real great place to work

Pros

You get to be around nice cars and very kind fellow colleagues. Branch management are also great but unfortunately at the whims of the secretive higher ups.

Cons

Many undisclosed changes to your schedule, ‘benefits’ change up on you too or end up being different than what you were told when being hired on. They will tell you they made a role for you then fire you for literally no given reason(I asked multiple times so I could learn what to improve on and all I was told was ‘it’s not you, it’s the role’) with no severance, 6 days of health benefits left, and right before the holidays. Not even paying you to the end of the pay period. They will lie and convince you you’re a part of the ‘SIXT family’ only to suddenly leave you out in the cold with little to no communication. They will use you for busy work then let you go a week before your 90 days with the company. Changed the employee parking to be an additional 2 miles away from work to a dirt lot with no security and then had to deal with sometimes rude shuttle drivers for the beginning and end of every shift. I lost the desire to move into the Rental Agent Role when I saw how a manager didn’t stand up for the employee when they were in the right and dealing with an obvious Karen, they punished the employee to make the customer happy and I lost all desire to work in a position that management doesn’t support you. The provided uniforms look nice and sometimes dry cleaning is provided, however it’s incredibly itchy and cheap materials so very uncomfortable to wear. No company cards so I had to max out my personal card for a mini holiday surprise. Upper management is tone deaf and detached from how normal people live. I ever overheard them accidentally say “I don’t care” when an employee was trying to small talk with them and brought up they have kids. I could go on but just genuinely don’t trust this place. I wasn’t paid for a shift back in October(worth about $200) and I was emailing the appropriate parties about it for weeks who told me I had to go to my boss. Who ignored that request and didn’t communicate anything with me. It explains why I was completely ignored for a week regarding work messages because he already knew he was going to fire me and couldn’t have the kindness to communicate with me in some way weeks in advance to idk possibly look for another job? Or tell me what I was doing wrong so I could’ve improved and had a chance to save my only form of income??
