the people are nice and friendly, medical benefits aren't too bad

Cons

upper management doesn't know how to communicate with employees. a lot of people who doesn't know what they are doing or know what's going on. a lot of miscommunications

Although there is a lot of discretion for individuals, there is a sense of security that the department head will ultimately take responsibility. It is more like building up experience than OJT, and it is very rewarding.

Cons

On the other hand, compatibility also depends on the department head.
