Pros

- friendly environment - 3 sick days per year - circa 5 bridge days per year - various benefits (like vouchers, etc. - 150eur/year) - team building actions 1-2 per year - international company - you are using foreign language(s) daily - stable job (if your project ends, they are trying to find you new position, not fire you)

Cons

- lot of internal technologies - you are unable to use lot of knowledge in another company - relatively low salary comparing to another companies in same city - your carrier growth is absolutely not in your hands (by this I dont mean like: I will be one day boss of this company, I mean growing in terms of knowledge of techologies of your choice - they are deciding what you will focus on, not you) - switching between projects doesnt exist (even though it is promised on interview) - no time to learn new things, only what is really necessary to do your current task (kinda same / extension to point 3 in cons) - lot of projects are relicts of history, using outdated technologies

Don't believe in brands

Pros

You will get a yearly gift. (Not in covid times) If you are favorite of your manager then you might get some awards(Few of which are worth 1lakh again not application in covid times)

Cons

When you join, you will think that siemens is a brand and moreover a product based company, you will be proven wrong within few months after joining the company. They will tell you that they work in R&D but most of the development work is done in Germany and all you will get here to do is testing. After at least 1-2 years you will get to work on pure development task. (If you are okay with it then go ahead and join). Appraisal is as good as what you get in service industry.

Pros

People at a direct management position, or below genuinely care. They fight for what they can get, but schedule and budget dictate everything.

Cons

PM and above don't seem to care at all. As soon as a project goes south(even if it was underbid) prepare to be blamed for everything all while being told that the best technicians "learn in the field." I get that there's some self learning portion, but most employees go 2 years before their first training class if they get one at all.
