      High salary Good infrastructure and facilities Obsessed over Safety and security which is a good culture to learn

      Cons

      Low level job content done by highly qualified people for high salary. So beyond a point all managers rust professionally and become very political for survival as there is no intellectual capability to display. HR is just a bunch of clerks with no real power. Not even bothered to do an exit interview. Onsite-white skin treat chennai BPO like it's a servant quarters.

      Good salary and perks. The graduate training program is comprehensive and extensive.

      Cons

      When I had joined, I had seen a review here that shell bangalore was a BPO. It took me a year to realise the extent of that statement. On the surface, it might appear otherwise, but at the end of the day, no major project comes to bangalore anymore. The flow of "good" projects stopped in 2010 and add to that the current oil price scenario, the development opportunities available for the staff are miniscule.

      Mismangement- Hiring Delivery managers are line managers--- My manager wants me to fill up the performance summary in GPA. Guidelines clearly say that it should reflect the supervisors vies. Policies - The policies like hot seat and the facilities make you feel you are working in BPO. Work - The quality of work and the level of useless practices takes all the motivation away. Mini IBM - Need I say more ? you project as product company and are actually worst than IT Service industries... All IBM management which fails to motivate employees.
