      In India, bureaucracy and pleasing your boss work. High handedness, favoritism and politics matter in office more than work. If you do not fall in line and try to avoid the politics, you will be sidelined. In worst case, you will be made a Target to resign on your own, otherwise your manager will be innovative to make you a scapegoat showing shell policy. No chance of promotion even if you do good job, unless you are political
