Pros

Sephora is an absolutely wonderful place to work. Management (and other cast members) are always on top of their game. They are kind hearted and more than understanding of any situation. They are always trying to be better everyday, even though the cast already looks up to them. They are by far some of the kindest people I have ever met. They take initiative and bust their butts everyday, and its always noticed and appreciated. They treat everyone equally, always asking how we are doing 5-10x a day (sometimes too often, but it's so sweet haha), they are always there for you, even if you need to talk about an outside situation. Working for sephora is like having a second family, I love them to death and plan to stay with this company for a very long time. *So many more pros that I currently can not think of. ****(Note: This is just how the sephora I work for is, this does not mean every sephora will be the exact same)

Cons

Very overwhelming and stressful at first-- especially during any seasonal holiday positions, but if you have a good, kind hearted cast, they will help guide you in the right direction. Pay is good for someone my age, but I worry down the line if the pay will ever be enough to provide for myself. Although bonus and gratis is a plus, working for a company that holds such "luxury brands" it would be nice to give their employees some "luxary" as well (decently better pay), especially when they ask so much of you. Although one of the values is work/life balance, without a doubt, every employee goes home thinking about how stressful this job is. If you truly do care about your job, It can overwhelm your life entirely, especially when there's so many things to worry about within the company. You will have days where you can be overworked, clients expect too much at times, with not enough coverage in store, sometimes juggling multiple clients, it comes along with retail in general but especially at this high volume company. Overall, this is a great place to work for, the cast and management makes everything better. The gratis (free product) is wonderful too, especially to gain knowledge on products. But, if you can't handle a fast passed environment-- this probably isn't going to be the best place for you. If you can, you will fall in love with this innovative company.

Pros

Generous with gratis and great product/brand exposure. Fun environment to work in.

Cons

Compensation was not the best. You don't know your work schedule until the week of/before, so you can't really plan anything in advance.

Pros

Working with great coworkers and great clients. Makeup and skincare is fun and challenging to work in. I learned a lot and enjoyed going to work everyday.

Cons

LOTS of things really need to be improved with some members of management. That's all I'm going to say.
