Pros

SF Headquarters is convenient to get to through mass-transit. Sometimes you get free samples of product, which is always fun. Having Sephora on your resume is a gain.

Cons

The whole atmosphere felt like a bad high school movie: sorority-clique staff, usually incompetent and attaining the job through connections rather than knowledge in the field. Promotions are based on favoritism rather than measured work achievement. There is no job security, which I saw at HQ when one girl was fired on the spot for nothing specific. Working hard, putting in late hours, and going above the call of duty is not recognized, even verbally. I saw many talented people, from full-time workers to unpaid interns, be verbally abused, overworked, disrespected, and quickly discarded, or run far away when they witnessed such events happen to others.

The trainings along with product are nice! Back in 2004 I would give this company a 10 for sure

Cons

Where to begin......they have lost the focus & concern for there biggest asset of all!! The people that make them $$$, turnover has become very high because of deappreciation for employees, the raises have tanked in the last 4 yr.'s, to to corporate & everyone in every single store location walks on eggshells!, you are constantly watched over & expected to be extremely PC at all times ( when it use to be a little bit looser of an atmosphere) , etc.

-great training -recieved alot of skincare,makeup and fragrance gratis -great friendly people to work with,really fun and sweet! -good health benefits for full time -its just a fun place to work at,clients come back,and if you work hard and do what you are expected to it doesn't feel like working overthere.

Cons

last min schedule cutting hours sometimes it was a very good place to work at .thats all the Cons I have.
