Securitas review
If you’re going to apply to this company, especially for entry-level, at the Denver branch specifically, and you have possibly a creditor looking for you, an ex-spouse stalking you, or something to that effect where your physical address where you live would be valuable to another entity you should be careful if you’re going to work at this branch. They have an investigation department and if you’re going to apply to be a ‘rover’ – a basic entry level position – these people, the managers who conduct and/or follow up the interview, will hand over all the personal information that you gave them for the interview to the investigation department. It won’t be a basic background check; it’ll be the background check to see if they can make some money selling your information to another party that might be interested in your whereabouts. They will see if there is a collector looking for you and if they are interested in finding you for their fee. With these rover positions you will be all over town going to places a minute’s notice and this is normal. Securitas will make sure you understand this so if you go out on a very irregular schedule you won’t be surprised to see many different people. The ‘client’ of the investigations department will have your upcoming schedule for at least one location and they will find you and you will not expect a thing, you most likely won’t know there is a represent of the company waiting trying to collect on you, or serve you, whatever. Will they approach you at that moment? Probably not, but they will now have a bearing on you to find out where you live.
You should be informed that this happens at the Denver branch and you have to understand that a lot of the managers in this branch, including investigations, are some of the lowest forms of human life you’ll come to experience. They do not care about you one bit, nor do they value any service you can provide for their clients. They’d rather make a quick buck off of your bad situation, should you have one at the time of your application.
