Solid pay for the area and plenty of overtime available.

Cons

A lot of the overtime will be covered by you as the supervisor unless your team wants to cover it

Decent pay and good people but bad management and limited sites

Pros

Reliable pay, decent guards, full time shifts available at most sites.

Cons

Branch management is horrible in Burbank (Los Angeles) and UMG site management is bad at communication with officers and even supervisors. I was an unhappy supervisor trying to go to a different site but none were available. HR is also horrible at keeping track of promotions of employees. I was listed as an "Officer" in my Securitas portal even after I was promoted to supervisor a year ago and I reached out to HR to inform them. But, no changes were made in the portal. Record keeping is horrible here.

Easy, good pay

Pros

The job is easy, and generally low stress. The pay is outstanding, especially for those with no experience. Most co workers are easy to get along with.

Cons

Communication from upper management is challenging. Having an across the board standard, and clear and consistent post orders are an issue. The job can be very boring.
