      Pros

      Securtias is a very good place to set your feet. If your looking for a strong foundation just so you can get your basic life ammenities Securtias would be the employer you would look to. They have very flexible hours, and have nice people working for them.

      Cons

      They could really work on giving their workers more hours, but I guess they are doing what they can. Securtias does not give a 40 hour work week to any one person unless your like and executive or a supervisor. They don't give overtime and they don't give holiday pay.

      some of my coworker...working for a copany like Securitas well respected in entire world!

      Cons

      securitas bosses should ask themselfs why the company Securitas in Portugal is as it is, losing so many clients and services? you sould ask workers (vigilantes) the reasons and you will see that the answer is only one: those responsible for hiring staff are incompetent and corrupt. Supervisors are "illiterate" and do not understand anything about human resources and human relations. they don´t even let me conclude my studies (future engineer). WHY? they spurn, they treat with contempt their employees. when securitas in sweden realize this it will be too late .. and the most serious is that, despite Securitas say loud and clear that SECURITAS FULFILL THE LAW, in Portugal that is not true, things like not paying overtime hours, subsidy of Lunch, harassment and pressures ... i am ashamed...you sould be too!

      Great for those who are in school or if your just looking for something to fill in the void in your like such as employment needed badly. Depending on the location you can work by yourself or with people. Learning experience for first time security officers Pays minor bills

      Cons

      Will let you go at will If something happens on sire even if its not your fault, it will not be looked into at all. Depending on your background can be treated differently Training is poor and will send your off on your way within three days after being hired Poor in following own guidelines in handbook Does not keep track of uniforms issued out If your pay is not correct, it will take a lot to get in contact with personal or be surprised if you get a call back in general to fix the problem Issues or problems are "covered up" with a smile and lies Ask for advancement within the company and it never happens uniforms and jackets tear easy, the material can either break you out or make you feel itchy
