Pros

Employees are empowered, flat structure, quick decision making and everything moves really fast. The company emphasised greatly on the values that is embedded in every Scanian way if doing things. Respect for individual is one of the great values stressed from all levels. Open space office concept. Great international exposure given.

Cons

Structure is too flat hence chances to move up is slow. Opportunities mostly given to the expatriates. Annual increment rate is discouraging and doesn’t really differentiate between performers and non performers.
