Pros

Safe employment, you can stay with the company forever and go to pension afterwards. Nice colleagues. OK life-work balance. Average benefits. CEO is very active with the sustainability vision.

Cons

It really varies depending on where at Scania you work. In som Scania parts there are some exciting projects ongoing andthe latest technoligies used but in some parts life stays still since 90s. Finance organization defenitely stuck if not in 90s then in 2000x. Company invests into trainees, but if you came from outside then you do your job for which you've been taken and your outside experience does not matter much... Finance organization is big and not that efficient. Competence development mainly based on learning by doing. Access to external courses, seminars is limited by permanent cost savings. Rather passive management.
