      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. Once you get a posted job it's regular hours. Worked with a good group of people.

      Cons

      Lots of changes all the time. Management could listen more. Depending on what job you are doing it can be hard work. Some of the old guys want you to slow down to not make them look bad.

      Reasonable pay and benefits for most union jobs (Edmonton, AB)

      Cons

      Incompetent management: inconsistent communication of procedures then public criticism or attack of employees who are targeted as scapegoats despite - or because of - their competence, resulting in bullying being accepted as "competent management dealing with incompetent employees" and the creation of a poisonous corporate culture. Subsequent demoralization results in high turnover of staff and management perceived as beleagured.

      Family-like atmosphere. Compensation and Benefits are good. Focused on helping employees stay healthy

      Company is acquiring a lot of smaller companies very quickly. This is causing far too many staffing shake-ups.
