Pros

Decent pension matching up to circa 12%, 6k car allowance for managers which you can take as cash. Bank is undergoing a lot of transformation which is positive.

Cons

Underperforming staff are not held accountable for poor standards of work and make life difficult. The bank is implementing a new “high performance culture” framework which seems positive but effectiveness is yet to be seen. In 2025 the bank has been enforcing office attendance of 3 days a week (measured quarterly so you can flex) however this is counterproductive and mostly hampers staff efficiency and effectiveness. For the most part, office attendance is completely pointless but senior management are deaf to this.
