Pros

Loved the work I conducted Allowed a good work/life balance on our team Teamwork within each teamwork and across others

Cons

Managers lack management training Managers punish employees who offer constructive feedback Managers openly encourage employees to talk to each other department wide, but turn around and punish them for doing so in private during reviews Compensation for existing (Sovereign) employees well below market value Goals established in the beginning of the year, that are SMART, are changed 2 days prior to year end performance reviews, and no longer SMART causing employees to barely meet goals Sr Leadership made promises, yet never delivered Year end performance review timeline lasts 5 months

Pros

This place doesnt care about anyone. You will be just a number to complete a nonsense task that will drive you nuts. You will be so confused when you work there. I read a review from an employer saying be ready to pick up a showel, forget the showel you will need a tractor to clean up the mess and once you done so they will bring back the mess again and tell you now do it with a showel and once you will be done with the showel they will tell you have no idea what you are doing. The truth is the place is so messy that the upper management has no clue themselves what to do, what direction to go and why. Be wware of the culture too. Is the toughest culture you will ever face in a coporate seting.

Cons

They are very greedy to establish a brand name in usa, I do not see them as a business to be worth standing on top of their competitors. I do not see them offering any good products to the customers. Just run away do not walk away. You will be happy not joining this bank

Pros

Used to be a good place to work. No longer.

Cons

Very few women or minorities in management position. Santander openly discriminates against women and minorities. Director FP&A Jon never talks to the women or minorities. You request a conference call, and he does not reply at all. Jon wants he "guys" around him. Terrible place to work. The "guys" do not do any work and walk out the door at 4:30 everyday. Place is a big joke. Guys do not have to come to work.
