Pros

Nothing anymore unless they are paying techs 6 figures. Seriously in today's market I am doing sooooooo much better after leaving there. This place didn't trust me after 10 years and had zero hope of promotion. Their benefits are outrageous in price. Now I pay next to nothing for benefits, have been promoted and am not a Microbiologists and only work about six months out of the year. That's a work life balance. Not what Sanofi sells.

Cons

Waste of a decade. Made my life heck. Gave so much free time to this company and got pooped on in return.

Pros

I worked at Sanofi, Waltham, MA. Sanofi offered a decent compensation. Free parking space was provided Also next it is located next to costco.

Cons

- My Manager was an individual who abused his authority - He did not even introduce me to the HR or equip me with the system through a formal orientation process. I was left traumatized and even my immigration status was attacked. - My manager spent two decades in academia after PhD and was never employed by industry until Sanofi hired him a couple of years ago. Naturally, such an individual, with <5 years of Industry experience should not be anybody's manager. - He was also another immigrant - Had fake qualifications from India and spent over decade as postdoc - Due to decade of postdoc and lack of family, he was frustrated mentally, sexually, and by every other means possible. - Sadly, despite the several years of training, the man could not run a PCR even. Not a single result in the lab was consistent/reproducible. - Every attempt, by hook or crook was made to fake data and make it presentable. - I reported to his supervisor (thrice) - she turned out to be the same (she was an immigrant too) - She did not know what he was up to and blindly believed him because 1) She did not have a PhD even 2) He knew how to manipulate her. - Because everyone is given a laptop and access to previous experiments, I could conveniently find out that most experiments were fraud, constructs could not be verified and yet data was projected to be promising. - It was shameful how despite 8000 PhDs being graduated in the US per year, and with over 40,000 Postocs, Sanofi could only find the most idiotic of them to work in their organisation. - Sanofi is home to bastards/thugs/criminals/academic fraud/scientific frauds. In fact, such people become managers in Sanofi. - The man even faked his date of birth on official documents. - I would never trust anyone who claims to be a Scientist from this organization. - Naturally, even the Franch regret the Americanisation of Sanofi. - Their agenda was plain and simple - drag the project to 5/6 years and then just spend 5-6 years in the organization and fill their CV with - "I was a manager at Sanofi. " - Utter wastage of money and resources. - All the people in the group belonged to the previous generation and saw the younger generation as an opportunity to harrass/overwork with their silly experiments. Not one was designed to perform or deliver. When the youngsters design/conduct their own experiments, they are shunned and harrassed even further. - the agenda was to simply act like you are working but not deliver anything real.

Pros

I have worked at multiple companies, and I would say that Sanofi is by far one of the best places I have worked at. The biggest strength about Sanofi is undoubtedly the people -- I have never been refused help, and people come together to help others complete projects when needed. I also relate to the "play to win" behaviors as part of the company evolution. In addition to the people, I think that the leaders are very approachable and down to earth. There are very little people who are immersed in their titles, and I have always been made to feel important and welcome. The company has great employee resource groups (ERGs) where you can get mentoring and expand beyond your current role. The science is decent, the R&D pipeline is good, with investment in multiple modalities, and the commercial lining of products is also good. Other than all these things, there is a sense of pride I feel when I say that I work for Sanofi. I have seen other reviews about the compensation and benefits, but they are decent. The 401k contributions is generous and the health insurance and dental insurance are good. Work life balance is very good.

Cons

Some aspects of bureaucracy can be a little frustrating, but it happens in every big pharma.
