Pros

Good benefits, week off at Christmas, bonuses and reward system. Great people- very friendly and eager to help a new comer. Internal movement and promotions actually are encouraged. There is never going to be a perfect company, but coming from one that was truly terrible to here has been a breath of fresh air. I do wish the people who bad mouth the management and company as a whole would either change the sour attitude or move on. There are lots of new people coming in, and they bring fresh, happy attitudes and improve the morale just by being so positive. The grumbling from the unhappy ones does nothing to improve the environment but just breaks down motivation and ruins the happiness of others. Management here is light years better than other pharma companies in the area. People complaining about them obviously don't know how good they have it here.

Cons

All the layers we need to go through to get simple things done, or approvals through. Having headquarters in Jersey makes some things more difficult to get accomplished.

Pros

Cons

Leaders should examine their management team. Feedback is a fondational management skill; the ability to provide regular, helpful feedback to employees in a manner that encourages, not discourages, is a cornerstone of effective management. This practice is the complete opposite to what the management team was doing and the result was a loss in volume and the lost of market shares. The leaders need to step up and ask why there is such a huge turn over, they need to not follow the slide shows when they come to visit, those slides are not demonstrative of what is really going on. Ask more questions. Not a place that believes in respecting their employees, not a place where you can grow or initiate any feedback to improve things, not a place where you work using your expertise, a place where they tell you what to do and you need to do it their way.
