A company that lacks leadership, proper management & empathy
Pros
During my time at Sanctuary everything I learnt was off my own back. They offered no progression, or reflection time to work on employee growth.
Cons
No employee freedom/trust. Every action must be done 100% as your manager decrees it or risk facing disciplinaries. No record of employee merit, if you do a good job on something it does not get recorded. Where as on the other hand every mistake you make is recorded and used against you. They offer no support for if you are struggling with stress/mental health issues. In the short time I was there I was constantly reminded that I am not allowed to work on task "above my pay grade" and that "I should focus on easier tasks" which denied the ability to learn. Team cohesion does not exist I belonged to a team of 10 but it felt like I was very much on my own. Being made to feel bad about taking holiday, or working from home when they are both wrote into a contract supplied by them. Being forced to work Christmas period "due to staffing issues" when all of the company broke for that period anyway. Management can be aggressive if you disagree with an opinion which they support.
