Pros

Good salary onsite opportunity Food coupons Transport facility etc

Cons

worst work culture. No trust on employees Here you will be asked to work on any technology and there is no attention on domain building . Management is worst be it resource management or project management. Here key to your success is not you excellence or dedication but your personal relationship with manager counts. Koreans treat Indian employees as labours and your dedication is judged by the hours you stay in the office. Work life balance is no concern here. If you stay here for 2 years you will mess up ur skills and become jack of all trades. Hard outtimes so you have to stay at least 9 hours within office. Now a days another policy has started ie tests.. subjective questions with 100 % negative marking so no job security also . If you have compulsion to stay in the NCR and can compromise with all this .. then its your dream place .

Pros

Relatively good salary/remuleration/treatment comparing other Korean companies. The company is still not familiar with foreign workers, but changing fastly. It has several famous foreign executive people. Has more advanced, globalized management style and culture. Working in Samsung can give you further job opportunities IN KOREA.

Cons

Life in Korea is kind of question mark. Seoul is fantastic city, which is really dynamic and convenient, however life in Seoul is very emulous. Koreans tend to focus more on work than family; they usually over work, and even drinking after work with team is considered as a part of work. In this point, Samsung is not an exception. Raising kids is difficult even for Koreans; you will see almost every parents pay huge money for additional/private education, since public education system is kind of disaster. (But for foreign workers, I think Samsung will take care of this.) Historically Korea is very homogenous, so sometimes you can see religious/cultural/racial discriminations; not in company but in your social life. Difference between Seoul area and other cities is big; other areas far from Seoul is quite bored. All culture, industry, conveniences is concentrated in Seoul area.
