Pros

fun place to work, they will work with you, great room for advancement and starting pay was $10 an hr for cashiering but i had experience.

Cons

some people dont have a consistant schedule and it can be a hassle to have to look at the schedule every week to see what you work the next week.

Pros

Pretty good pay for the job you do. Still somewhat of a community environment even though it is a big company. Wal-Mart stock option.

Cons

Some sketchy employees, potential for lots of workplace drama. Only 30-minute lunches, often you have to eat at the Sam's Club food court because there's not time for anything else. Higher career positions seem pretty thankless, and unless you want to leave the region pay didn't seem worth it for the higher-ups.

Pros

Great if you are going to school or maybe have another job. They work around most people's schedule. Better starting pay than most places.

Cons

Sometimes there are not very many opportunities to move up in the company if there are employees who have been witht he conmpany for years in a certain department. High turnover rate as cashiers. May not feel as if your contributions are appreciated.
