Pros

Meet new people and build a relationship with lots of members.

Cons

Too many promotions going on at one time. Confusing to associates and members. Not too many cons. Great place to learn the ins and outs of retail.

Pros

- Easy. You never get extremely technical questions. Although, I could answer them, most questions are answered by just reading the information on the price tag (processor, RAM, screen size, LED/LCD/Plasma, etc.) - Level 4. You're never called up to cashier or do much else. You're stuck in your department. It's good sometimes, but other times they might need you to go to the grocery department.

Cons

- Little hours at my club. I might get 10 to 15 hours in electronics. I have to make it up by working in the other departments. - Pressure to sell warranties and Plus memberships. Most of the other departments cover Plus, but we just switched out managers and he wants to see warranties.

Pros

The Flexibility of the Job is outstanding and with the 2 dollar an hour night differential pay it is quite appealing. The work is not difficult and the breaks that are given are very energizing. Late night exercise is good for everyone. You get paid for holidays even if you don't work on that day (under certain circumstances). Medical benefits are available even to part-time workers

Cons

The hours may be a little harsh for those who are used to sleeping at night. Some of the jobs that are done in the store should be paid a lot more; Especially since heavy equipment is utilized in the performance of nightly duties. Though the 2 dollars for everyone working nights is substantial, it does not seem like enough for all of the work. Lunches are limited to 30 minutes and are not paid, thus you end up working only 7 and a half hours though you are there for 8. No merit raises and the maximum raise one can receive is 60 cents per year.
