Pros

Employees are outgoing. Pay is above average. Managers are easy to talk to. The work isn't difficult. Didn't have to work late into the night.

Cons

The computer training took too forever.

Pros

The people you work with. I made true friends that I will always socialize with. The customer base is much better, it is amazing how well the membership fee weeds out the undesirables that the other side of the company is so well known for.

Cons

The company is using the tough job market to be able to take away benefits and push their associates harder than they would other wise take with out leaving for another position. I was with the company for more than a decade and they no longer show any sense of loyalty to the people who run the day to day operations. There is a constant threat of loss of job to meet every goal no mater how large or small.

Pros

Sam's Club is a good place to work as far as available benefits, community contributions and pay is comprable to other employers in the area. It's a living.

Cons

Communication is ineffective. Managers believe they know absolutely everything even if you have proof they are misinformed. No one ever says "good job" or "thanks for the hard work".
