Pros

Pay is good. Compared to the rest of the market I cannot complain about the rate that Sam's club pays.

Cons

Lost it's culture. I think overall everything is about hitting the bottom line. I feel that Sam Walton would not be happy of the way the company has went. This isn't because of the corporate office but rather from the district manager and below.

Pros

Steady employment, stable company. They seem to have clubs open everywhere so they are doing some things right.

Cons

Attocious work conditions, promotions based upon politics and not on merit, little thought to work/life balance.

Pros

You are empowered to do your job

Cons

Micro Manager look for too many wrongs and not enough right. Tell employees the right way to do things in advance instead of waiting for them to make a mistake
