Pros

Stable and fair in today's economy, good for long term employees who desire to move up in the company and are focused. Decent benefits

Cons

Poor management in regards to people skills and an understanding of a managers responsibilities and duties to their club, department, and workers. Lots of favoritism, macro-management and micro-management that is unnecessary. More and More members are becoming upset and frustrated with the Plus Membership and the processes that they are forced endure and listen too every time they come in to shop. Even if they refuse it once they are forced to listen to it again. The Plus Membership needs to be restructured and the benefits need to be re- looked. Are we gearing more towards the Personal shopper or to businesses?

Pros

• No micromanaging • Quite a few 20-yr+ associates • Membership makes nice customers • Recognizes and rewards performance • Free membership & discount on produce • Floor associates eventually qualify on forklift • Great place for hands-on learning of electronics • Good benefits even if part-time, including profit sharing Note: I joined as a part-timer and was promoted to full-time so it does happen.

Cons

- Mostly part-time positions except for overnight stockers - You must carry your load - too few people for slackers (great for profit sharing)

Pros

Great customers are great. The managers were very friendly and always there for support.

Cons

Bad customers are terrible. Lifting sometimes gets out of hand especially when customers get annoyed when they placed everyone in the cart in a certain order. People tend to hide things between boxes so that you miss them.
