Pros

Nice, clean & friendly place to work. The Management was nice and helpful. The HR was very lacking is assistance.

Cons

HR person opinionated & all about her. You'll need to go to Managers for a lock/locker because otherwise you'll wait.

Pros

There are not many pros to working for Sam's Club, but there are a few perks: Free Basic Membership OR discounted Plus Membership with the value of the Basic deducted Stock options after you qualify for benefits Health Insurance is decent Discount on produce

Cons

Corporate is very hands on with the stores, not permitting them to adapt to their local areas Constantly having new rules added with little to no warning in advance Constantly having to rearrange the store Gas Station Associates and others required to request for restroom breaks and fifteen minute breaks are often made to wait up to five hours or more to get the aid they asked for and are often yelled at for sending a reminder Managers tend to be very cold and unsympathetic to those under them Grassroots has been thrown to the wayside in favor for a suggestion box The managers love to go on and on about accountability, but are never themselves accountable for their actions Managers who do stand up for the employees often get canned later on under other pretenses

Pros

Great chance for advancement. Yearly raises (if you actually do you job and dont complain about it). Employee events with food, understanding and helpful management. You really get a chance to prove yourself and will receive recognition when you do your job well. Most people are very friendly however that is up to managers to hire the right people. Ways of business can always be changed.

Cons

Not all clubs are the same, and you will find many clubs differ greatly.
