Pros

if you need part time, then it is somewhat good. Started out at reasonable salary.

Cons

Unfair treatment, being scheduled outside my "manager approved" availiblity. Poor raises, no reconignition for good work. When club management changes, usually it is for the worst. If you have a poor club manager, then you are screwed.

Pros

Sam's is a decent job if your only looking for part time work.

Cons

There is no room to grow, pay increases are a joke, scheduling was a free for all. There were several times where I would make plans as I would be off shift only to find my manager changed my schedule on the fly a day before and didn't tell me. There was no way I was changing my plans for that. When I didn't show for my "changed shift" management got upset and counted it as a no show.

Pros

Day goes by fast because youre busy. If you have a good team like i did, it helps. If you want to move up in company, just literally do your job right and you can move up.

Cons

Management at this location was very lazy, besides 1 or 2 of them. Management makes the lead do their job so they have less to do. Management stands around and does absolutely nothing, even when the store was busy and short staffed. They cut overtime even though they are short on staff, yet they still expect everything to be done and perfect. You get hired and told you would do one thing and then they change your schedule and duties on you. Overall horrible work life balance and horrible management. Half of management looks like theyre afraid to do any actual work.
