Pros

Stable and fair in today's economy, good for long term employees who desire to move up in the company and are focused. Decent benefits

Cons

Poor management in regards to people skills and an understanding of a managers responsibilities and duties to their club, department, and workers. Lots of favoritism, macro-management and micro-management that is unnecessary. More and More members are becoming upset and frustrated with the Plus Membership and the processes that they are forced endure and listen too every time they come in to shop. Even if they refuse it once they are forced to listen to it again. The Plus Membership needs to be restructured and the benefits need to be re- looked. Are we gearing more towards the Personal shopper or to businesses?

Pros

I really enjoy my job and am thankful i was given an opportunity to join the team. The "family" feel of fellow associates is awesome and we try to watch out for one another.

Cons

Our local management has some major issues staying focused. They are constantly changing focus and seem to be misguided at times. Inconsistent disciplinary action really doesn't help matters either. Certain Associates are held to a higher standard and others are given "freebies." Lowering the expectations just to let someone slide by is not the way to help someone succeed. t

Pros

The people are that you have worked with for years are great to work with and most of the people are friendly. The benefits are good, just depends on your family status.

Cons

The communication is terrible and when managment communicates with you , it is DO THIS and DO THAT and they do not offer to help you. You are one person and for what they pay you it is not worth the pain and headaches to be their rat. I have never been treated so bad at a job in my life. I do not get why someone would laugh at you when you have a problem and need help, totally disrespectful.
