its a great company, but they do not pay sallary what we deserve

Pros

The public,helping them with their beauty problems. Advancment from within is good, starting as a floor associate and moving up to managment is good. But hours you work verus your pay are really bad.

Cons

You work allot of hours, get no time off , you earn vac time but it is really hard to take it, and if you don't take it you lose them, they should buy your vac hours if their not take, but they don't you lose them.

sallys beauty supply, not employer freindly

Pros

to learn beauty secrets, you get to try new product as samples for free monthly, you learn what differnt age groups are using, and wich beauty products are worth your money, you learn how to fix your self up better, customer service is always great, it makes you feel great when you have help a customer feel better about them selfs, and they are happy that they learned about how to fix them selfs up

Cons

the district manager is not supportive, and they do not fallow labor laws, the pay os very low, you have a lot more work then uesly in retail, they dont have scanners, so you have to hand key in every item, and a lot of the skues are very tiny and hard to see, this is very time consuming and can make your line back up wich in turn upsets your customers, there computer system is also very old and brakes down alot, wich also upsets the custers, most stores are very small, so the truck is unloaded in to the store on the floor in the way of the customers
