Pros

Working at Sally cam be fun, you get your free products every month and the more items of the month you sell, the more points you get for that month, and with those points you can get gift cards to spend in the store, baby items, work out dvds. Another pro is the scratch offs you receive if your store meets its monthly goals. I love my store manager, she is fun and easy going

Cons

The computer system is out of control. who honestly wants to type in a 6 numbered SKU for every item? i know i don't. When i see a woman with an entire cart of things...i almost want to just walk away. And the only way we can find Beauty Club Card numbers is by calling a 1-866 number and go though the entire automated system...and more than half the time i cant find the card number, and that makes the customers mad... A big con in my book is how stressful it can be to keep your numbers low enough to be kept under the "sally radar". having a bad day, not selling enough beauty club cards or items of the month, and then for the rest of the week you are stressed trying to play catch up. Not enough hours given so the staff could be bigger. I enjoy my 40 hour weeks, but I am in the store alone very often, and that is because we are only given 100 hours a week between the other 4 people working in that store, and we do quite a bit of business.

Pros

Clean, nice monthly freebies, good training.

Cons

Upper managment exrcising such detailed control a store manager could not hire, fire, set hours or do anything them selves.Poor pay scale, and sstore managers were told in a meeting we Belonged to Sallys, never expect any holidays or any time off.
