Your success here is entirely dependent on your vertical, patch, and your AE’s. 60% of your KPI’s are AE determined metrics so if your AE can’t run a discovery call or close a deal you will not last long here. Your performance is based on your AE performance. If you and your AE get a bad patch you will not last long here. Your AE will be able to ride it out though because they have quarterly KPI’s and ours are monthly. Your vertical will also determine how much work you have to do. Enterprise install BDR’s get everything handed to them and do admin work all day while New Logo only hits 50% of their KPI’s while doing twice as much work. Nobody seems to care though even though 3/4 of the team gets performanced out every year. The BDR org is a complete mess built with a house of cards.
