Pros

The Senior Management team in place are focused on continually improving not only the working environment (systems, processes etc), but personal growth and development. Since working here, career progression is evident and staff turnover lower than I have experienced in previous roles.

Cons

Dated processes/systems, but even these are currently being improved, with investment in new claims/policy systems.

Pros

There was a lovely friendly warm team that was like a little family before the new managing director came along.

Cons

I originally did the call centre job which like many others I soon learned was easy but low paid money but was awful having to have customers shout down the phone at you constantly (as most of the time it was complaints due to bad service for fulfilling a mobile phone claim). I then applied for the admin job which I got and enjoyed helping the senior admin assistant sort out the post and do premium enquiries etc. The company then decided to amend everyone’s contracts so they could pull people back onto the call centre whenever they saw fit. And that’s exactly what they did with me, being taken and pulled away from my new job that I loved to then once again dealing with complaints over the phone in the call centre - my now husband had to console me each evening I started coming home crying all the time. I’ve never been made to feel so rubbish and worthless in a job before. They crack the whip shouting at you to get in available to take calls when you are dealing with other things, you feel more like a beast of burden than human. Hire and fire approach too when you see people constantly coming in the door and going out the door which makes staff anxious. The young senior management who came from the call centre originally all got so above themselves and would become so big for their boots once promoted that they forgot how to treat staff who were underneath them. A tip - don’t forget where you came from…
