Pros
Lots of offices and departments all over the world - you can try to change places within the company without leaving. Of course this is not an easy way but at least you can try. Different departments allows also to try to change discipline, that is much easier when you stay in the same company compared to try to leave.
Cons
Extremely slow strategy - means that if you want to change something inside (location, position, grade, etc) sometimes it may take years and years. ....
