      If you work in IT, don't come to SHEIN.

      Pros

      There used to be lots of pros but it all changed 12 months ago with all leaders now in China. They cut IT roles as it suits them and have removed some great managers

      Cons

      Lack of real leadership, all based in China now and if you don't speak the language you can forget getting involved. Currently under investigation for GDPR issues even though they have been told internally they are in breech, says it all really.

      Flexible schedule and free perks, but poor training and communication

      Pros

      Flexi schedule- 10-4pm, free lunch every monday, free clothing, cool people, cool office.

      Cons

      horrible training on digesting company sales data- which is an intergral part of the job. the management gatekeeps info, lack of communication from above, everyone works by themselves, even if you are designing the same brand. output expectations are unreasonable- you will be working till 3-4am on an unrealistic deadline, and there is a ton of wasted work.
