Pros

Nice office and good location

Cons

1) Seems glorifying from the outside but is in fact a Chinese-first company on the inside. System and communication all prioritizes Chinese-speaking and if you can’t speak in Chinese you will get swept aside and be deprioritized. Structure and company direction is also unclear, perhaps lost from translation? Everything is just a mess. 2) Toxic, unprofessional culture passed down from top management. Seems like most Chinese managers are young and have no real experience managing people. That’s why turnover rate is extremely high. Management is extremely calculative to the single cent and unable to give direction to team, resulting in auto-pilot mode. 3) No career progression in this company and salary increments are not competitive to other industrial players. Especially for junior employees who tend to get the short end of the stick.

Pros

Hydrid, travel oportunities, that's it nothing else

Cons

*Ineffective Management by Senior Staff: Severe hierarchical problems persist within the organisation. If you're in a junior role, you'll likely experience subpar treatment from senior managers. Moreover, the perks and benefits seem to be more accessible to higher-ranking employees. *Inadequate Salary Structure: The salary rates are notably inadequate and don't match the current market standards. Additionally, salary increments are capped at a maximum of 3% per year, and they fail to account for inflation in various cities. *Communication Challenges: Communication within the company is lacking and often ineffective, causing misunderstandings and delays. *Insufficient Resources and Manual Processes: The reliance on manual processes instead of utilising adequate resources leads to a high likelihood of errors and inefficiencies. *Unhealthy Work Culture: There's an excessive expectation for employees to work long hours, often around 10 hours a day, without proper recognition. Voicing concerns about workload might lead to being unfairly labeled as lazy. *Basic Healthcare Coverage: The health insurance provided is very basic, failing to adequately meet the healthcare needs of employees. *High Stress Levels and Limited Connections: The prevailing atmosphere is one of stress and busyness, which makes it challenging to establish meaningful connections with colleagues. *Lack of Employee Wellbeing Focus: The organisation displays zero interest in the wellbeing of its employees. Employees are often treated as mere numbers and expected to function like machines.
