Pros

Gated parking lot and large restrooms.

Cons

No bonuses. No pay raise in last 5 years. People are quitting like crazy. At one point there wasnt enough staff to cover the shifts. Very high turn-over. By the time you finish training someone they are sick of the way the company and managers treat them and they quit. They do not keep anything private. You will find out who gets fired or written up 2-3 days in advance!!! There is too much mess, backstabbing, gossip, and trouble. Don't get me started on the amount of accidents that have occurred and the integrity of the results reported. If you do decide to work here make sure you ask exactly for the money you want or x5 more, because you will get it because no one wants to work here. They hire people with no experience because no one is willing to work here or stay long enough before they have time to fill another position. Doesn't matter how much you get paid you not be able to endure the way things work around here. Someone threaten to come to work and blow up the facility because he was too stressed about the job. Everyone was scared!!

Pros

A great place to learn and improve your professional skills if you are a self driven individual and don't need support to learn and acquire knowledge from the diversity of experiences you can encounter here. Relatively flexible hours if you work outside the analytical laboratory.

Cons

Completely lack of manager support when it comes to personal development i.e. courses, further education etc. Average to low pay specially at the technician level, high turn around of people in the analytical department which the managers (specially in Geneva) don't realize affect the business on the other departments (metallurgical operation). There are lots of toxic senior employees that makes life and work impossible to those that want to develop on the work place. Managers (upper managers and to a degree group managers) show a complete lack of interest for the people that work there, you are just a number to them and when the market softens you are on a list to get fired almost immediately... how far down the list you are? ...nobody actually knows until you get the call.
