Strong Safety Culture, lots of opportunity for clerical and inspection personnel.

Cons

Geneva headquarters did not understand the Bartlesville office when they bought it, couldn't figure out how to appropriately manage. Failure at US and Geneva levels to not charge an operating center for R&D activities and double charge for infrastructure.

Pros

The people are very friendly, and very accommodating. It was a low stress environment with no unreasonable deadlines that had to be meet.

Cons

They did testing for coal companies, and while I was there someone tried to come in and start a union. Management went to great lengths to avoid this and pretty much called a meeting and said our jobs would be lost if we signed the card supporting the union effort.
