      Pls bring back the yester-years of SAS...Reconsider the management team for "transformation"

      Pros

      The people you work with makes the difference. The camaraderie and friendship formed over the years makes a difference.

      Cons

      New management, focusing on transformation. Emphasis on cutting staff to make a profit. Every conversation with senior management is purely transactional. Management does not listen to your business situation. All they care is to drive pipeline and close deals without understanding how the region operates. No heart, no soul and no empathy from the senior management

      Great Company to Work for

      Pros

      SAS is a great company to work for. Great benefits, such as automatic 3 weeks vacation on day 1, in addition to having a week off between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Free Gym Membership, excellent work-life balance. Understands that there is more to life than your job. Excellent support for people with young children to those with Elderly parents.

      Cons

      I think that SAS set the bar high when it comes to work-life balance. Companies now recognize Dr. Goodnights' philosophy that his greatest resources are his employees. It's hard to keep that number 1 position for the best company to work for when others are doing the same.
