Kind of a chaos

Pros

Competitive salary for juniors. The company didn't fire anyone during the crisis.

Cons

Poor career advancement. Organizational chaos without clear goals, a clear product path. Managers without expertise in communication, leadership, or product development. A lot of political decision-making. A lot of training about bias, a lot of big words around diversity, and then salary is based on the place you are living, so even they are shouting out people are at the first place, profit is at the first place, to be clear.

Pros

Benefits and paid time off. Acceptance of remote work.

Cons

Poor communication, and teamwork. Almost everyone working at SAS has been here 20+ years so it is difficult to get any onboarding or clear documentation on processes. Advertise 7 hour work days, but this only seems to apply to non engineer roles, there's a lot of working weekends.
