Pros

When there are jobs to get done the work is great! When you have time the schooling they offer is awesome! When I was working all hours of the day and night things were great!

Cons

I was hire to be their south Florida tech to show the big corporate guys that there was a ton of work, the man they sent down to get the work promise allot of the company’s things that couldn’t get done in the time frame he gave them. They also used my fathers property to store their parts and also dump their used oil since they didn’t have a place (they didn’t give any money to my father or I for the use of the land and my storage space) . They’ll lie to your face and when you get fired they won’t keep it between them and you, they’ll tell everyone and lie to them (even to the people that don’t work for rush). The higher up’s think that they can do whatever. They will send a sales man to fire you as well. If your a hard worker they don’t care about you. They’ll treat you like trash. They’ll use and abuse you.

Decent enough company, poor culture

Pros

Training is good. Advancement can be terrific.

Cons

No company culture. No core set of values or operational principles. Each dealership is its own microcosm of vague Rush identity. TLDR - Ask five people, you will get five different answers. Back to advancement, you will possibly have several new bosses within the span of a year. Couple that with no rudder, it becomes exhausting keeping up with today's boss.
