Pros

Have to wear a lot of hats, so learn a lot of things in the 1 year I was there.

Cons

Company operates as if 2 separate entities, the US team and the international team. Quite a bit of 'fats' in some departments as well. The US team tends to work in a specific role while international team is more rounded as they wear multiple hats.

See the world!

Pros

You get to travel the world, save money (room and board included), and the best part is that you get to meet, work and socialize with people from all over the world. You get to learn about different languages, cultures and traditions; all helping to become more culturally sensitive.

Cons

While at sea it is very easy to lose touch with people on land. Wifi is charged by the minute. It is also easy to get tired of the food onboard as the free food for crew members is the same every day.
