Pros

Number one is benefits and lifestyle. Roxor is professional in all they do but without a corporate feeling. Never have I felt that I can't be myself at work and the business has always been helpful and understanding for anything I need. The benefits on offer are also amazing. Especially the summer and Christmas parties! The employees, right up to management are amazing and are approachable. Finally, the industry is unique and can open up many opportunities. My job involves being creative and making games. I don't think there's another job that ticks all the boxes for me. With a brand new office also, it's an exciting place to be right now.

Cons

While there are lots of schemes and initiatives to help people improve, both professionally (work skills) and as a human (awareness), I think, at times these messages are too subtle and people can accidentally or purposely avoid them. I think more can be done to make people attend/read these things to make for a better workplace. Career opportunities could be outlined better.

Pros

Pay is adequate. The office location is good. The perks are nice.

Cons

There is a lack of advancement opportunities for this role and career development in this role is meaningless as the role is not that of a technical artist. Game pipeline is still undetermined as such ownership of tasks can be uncertain. Sometimes the workload can be very unbalanced or very heavy.
