Great people to work with and technical expertise was top notch. Salary was relatively competitive at the senior level of leadership.

Cons

Had difficulty retaining good talent due to antiquated ways of managing staff. In many ways they would be considered out dated in business processes, talent management, work life balance compared to other companies

Pros

My previous management were people of great character and very respectful and appreciative. Technical work is always abound. Gas Turbine engines touches almost every engineering discipline.

Cons

The "bean counters" as they are called middle managers are nothing short of pothetic, the majority being technically shallow. They are "yes" people to the director and the VP as some of them are "high potential", what a joke. The job posting and selection is a very suspicious process, as some positions get filled before being advertised. There is no need to be surprised here, it is the dominant culture. The word "ethics" evidently has more than one meaning, because middle managment seem to be above the law doing what ethically is wrong. HR is also missing, and when it is around, it adds to the bureaucracy to the point you get fed up and just become passive, then try to leave at any cost.

Not bad pay for one title but horribnle for two

Cons

Been at company less than 30 days and have been assigned a Program Manager Role with no extra compensation. This role came from my managers next level manager and I feel trapped into it.
