      Pros

      Really smart people, updated facilities, generous leave, and pockets of high performance. Renewed emphasis on business ethics. Plans for growth in Indiana.

      Cons

      Does not take timely decisions, is hierarchical, aristocracy, tolerates bad behavior from leadership, male dominated, and racks and stacks employees.

      Pros

      There is a lot of status attached to working for Rolls-Royce, and in my experience you will get out of it what you put in - usually more. The salary depends on being in the right place at the right time and picking up high status jobs that you provide solutions for regularly

      Cons

      RR has put everyone on the towers-Watson scale (goes from 1 to 23) but to me it cannot make sense that there are so few technical specialists at grade 14 and above (I believe there are only 55) in an organisation of 40000 people. Consequently if you are interested in high tech then don't expect to necessarily get well paid or for there to be much of a community for advancing it.

      Pros

      Great benefits, good pay, great product and exciting industry. Lots of opportunity to learn.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, government contracts make it difficult to live up to company expectations at the same time. Goals are unrealistic.
