The salary, wage rise etc. is excellent here. The union negotiates benefits on your behalf. There is scope to move around the business to different jobs. Work / life balance is reasonable in some teams.

Cons

The company is huge, therefore change is difficult, and everything feels like running through treacle. Too many 'lifers' i.e. 30/40 years service hold the company back.
