Pros

Pay is generally on par or above par Local teams tend to work well together and have a good culture

Cons

There has been a ridiculous amount of changes occurring over the past few years and its done all the wrong way. A random day in October might come and they'll drop on you that you no longer have any of the accounts you had doing 10mil a year in sales, your job is completely different, your pay is less, a bunch of people are fired, local management isn't aware or involved, now go sell to accounts in Arizona that currently do zero business with us even though you live in ohio. It's really great if you want to be set up for failure. They essentially blew up a structure because they had an idea and then put zero thought into what to do with the people involved in the blow up. They just decided to throw them wherever without any of their consideration. Some people got the long end of the stick and some got the short end.

Pros

Pay is good, distributors are good to work with, some good people in the company at parallel levels

Cons

Absolutely no onboarding or training...zero whatsoever. Couldn't feel further further away from leadership, you never know what's going on above you. Communication across the entire company is horrible. Lack of accountability and leadership companywide. Cliche but they really don't care about you. Culture is bad, lifers leaving daily. Everyone I have talked to say "it used to be a great company with great products but it's just not the same anymore". No one seems to actually care about the customer. I think arrogance in their brand is going to be a big downfall - competition isn't nearly as far back as it used to be contrary to what they may think and it's starting to show. Customers feel very far away and disconnected from Rockwell Automation.

Pros

If allowed in the proper cliques work can be rewarding, otherwise you are a pariah. Rewards are based on the depth of one's cranial insertion into bowels of their supervisors.

Cons

Internal feedback systems are a ineffectual. Annual employee survey is written such that the company always does well. Inconsistent application of published internal processes for career growth and advancement. Career growth only available to the young. Employees viewed as disposable assets. Offshores work outside the USA.
