      Interesting new technologies* Low level of difficulty and stress (usually) Pleasant coworkers Many opportunities for learning and growth Management mostly came up through the ranks so are pretty knowledgeable and understanding Somewhat flexible on hours, mostly remote now

      Cons

      *Also a ton of obsolete tech that is somehow still used and supported, and many projects get started but go nowhere. Can also lead to being spread too thin across many products The work itself can be draining and unsatisfactory - solve one problem, on to the next Weekend and holiday on-call duties are required

      Cons

      IT leadership has no clue. It's a little boy's club with old men who are out of touch with people and processes come before technology. If you're a bully then you get promoted that's sums up the culture here. Also they will work you to the bone and tell you, you should be happy with 2% salary increase that doesn't even keep up with inflation. You have to leave the company and come back if you want a salary bump.
