Pros

Great experience, majority of employees are wonderful.

Cons

Due to "economic stress", they did not honor the tuition reimbursement promise. After that they said there was no place to grow from my position due to my lack of a college degree, and that my current position didn't require one, so I quit. That was after reviving my account, surpassing my sales goal by 20% (sales? Not even my job), and getting multiple customer service awards. If that wasn't enough, there was nothing left for me to do. They kind of backed me into a corner and I don't believe they thought I would actually leave. Side note: When interviewing an employee for a job, its wise to remember everything they have said to you. When someone says they work because they want to and not because they have to, you need to be aware they can walk any time they feel like it!

Pros

Promote work life balance, work place safety, good exposure if assigned to the right projects.

Cons

Too much emphassis on problem or issues on surface and lack of understanding the actual root cause. No consistency which create confusion.

Employees are not a priority... Stock holders are

Pros

A good place to start a career for someone out of college... until you start hitting the cons which does not take long.

Cons

Where to start... 1) Departments are understaffed... they expect more for less. 2) Merit increases are a joke year after year. 3) Company posted RECORD sales, but give very little incentive to employees. Stockholders are the main focus. 4) Contractors rule the IT area, and seem to get more flexibility than full time employees. 5) Goals are passed down to employees about half way through the fiscal year, sometimes later! Give very little time to meet the goals, which leads to... 6) Poor annual reviews even if you are told all year long that things are going good. Do a good job, management will find something to cut you down so that you get a low review and merit increase. 7) Very little recognition from management other than 'good job', which they really don't mean. 8) Five managers in five years... just when you and your department start heading in a good direction, your manager is changed and you have to start all over. ADDITION: MERIT INCREASES ARE BEING GIVEN OUT TO MANY AS A LUMP SUM PAYOUT WHICH IS BASED ON SALARY WHICH COULD BE YEARS OLD. IN TURN, YOU COULD ACTUALLY TAKE HOME LESS ONE YEAR THAN YOU DID IN PREVIOUS YEARS.
