We understand that the often-conflicting demands of work and personal life can be a major source of stress. The key to creating work-life balance is to set expectations that are reasonable for you. For many of us, the harmony between our work and life outside of work is dynamic, with some days and weeks when we are in better harmony and other times when things are not where we want them to be. We would encourage you to discuss your concerns with your local manager or HRBP in order to come up with a plan that helps you better balance both your work and outside-of-work life.

We understand that career growth is a key part of the employee experience, and at Roche, we believe each person plays an active role in shaping their own development. That autonomy is something we value, and we’re committed to providing the tools and opportunities to support it. Whether through learning platforms like Cornerstone, short-term gig assignments, mentorship, or upskilling programs, there are many ways for employees to explore new skills, gain experience, and expand their impact. We encourage everyone to take advantage of these resources and to work with their leaders to chart a development path that’s meaningful to them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts; your input helps us continue to improve how we support career growth across the organization.
