Pros

Sense of pride selling most of portfolio, excellent training which helps outside the workplace as well.

Cons

Marriott influence diminishes the brand a bit. On the flip side, Marriott's buying power greatly improves employee benefits and growth opportunities.

Pros

Work in a professional environment where everyone is treated with respect. Meeting some of the world's most successful people on a daily basis. Compensation plan when times were good was excellent. Knew exactly what is expected of you.

Cons

With the real estate crash in 2008, the company remained stuck to old ways and were arrogant about the state of the industry, instead of adapting to change and attempting to innovate and bounce back.
