Overall good company

Pros

Pay is competitive and usually much higher than other food and beverage outlets because it is considered a luxury hotel. Very diverse staff, but would like to see more of it amongst higher level management and executives.

Cons

The supervisor/turnover is pretty high IMO. I've seen 8 now onto our 9th manager in 4 years. But my experience with them overall has been good, and HR is good at listening to incoming reports/complaints when necessary.

Pros

Free meals in employee dining rooms, the longer you stay with Ritz-Carlton, the better the benefits

Cons

The Ritz-Carlton & Marriott structure as a whole is incredibly rigid - you have to be willing to operate under many, many levels of heirarchy
